Simply45® strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 connector body and becomes integrated into the RJ45 plug during the crimping process. The Simply45® S45-B004P is an 8.5mm (0.33”) snagless narrow-width strain relief for use with larger diameter shielded LAN cables. The S45-B004P is recommended for all Simply45® PROSeries branded shielded with external ground RJ45 modular plugs. These 8.5mm strain reliefs protect the RJ45 modular plug and extend the useful life of the termination. Simply45® recommends that strain reliefs or boots should be used with all RJ45 terminations.
