The ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 laptop features a number of environmentally responsible components including post-consumer content recycled plastic in the enclosures for the speaker, battery, and AC adapter. Packaging is 90% recycled and/or sustainable content, and the manufacturing process for essential parts uses low-temperature soldering. Available in Thunder Black or Storm Grey, both models feature 90% magnesium in the keyboard frame, while the Storm Grey version includes certified recycled aluminum (50% top cover, 55% bottom cover).

If you spend lots of time on a PC, your eyes can become tired and strained. The massive 16″ display on the ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 helps to prevent that by offering panels with Eyesafe® certification for low blue light. Engineered to handle the extremes
We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions. These tests cover harsh variables like Arctic wilderness and desert dust storms, including temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.
